Artists' Reception - featuring Heather Neill, Don Wilks, David Fokos, and Gigi Horr-Liverant

Please join us for the artists' reception featuring the new works by:

Heather Neill, Don Wilks, David Fokos and Gigi Horr-Liverant

Heather Neill -
Heather is known for paintings rich with context and meticulous imagery. She paints a story, figuratively and literally, with each stunning work. This season her paintings revisit familiar themes, like her Teacup Series and also explore new locations on the Vineyard.

Don Wilks -
Don's sculptures convey the action and interaction of the human body. He is continually working to develop his techniques and expand his knowledge of anatomy, body motion, and fluidity.

David Fokos -
David is a purist in every sense of the word. He doesn't just shoot pictures, he crafts images. He works with an 'old school' large format camera and holds to the time proven foundation and principle of great photography - the negative holds the integrity of the image - then he adds his own, unique, approach to conveying the sense of emotion and place of his subject, by manipulating time and film exposure. The results are breathtaking.

Gigi Horr Liverant - Gigi's work is experiential and inspired by the inconsequential moments and places in life. She juxtaposes rich color encouraging the observer to experience an ordinary scene with a fresh vision and a prompt to reevaluate his or her own perception. Having been enamored with the Vineyard for more than 25 years, she focuses on her own version of the island.
