The Return of Open Mic. Our island is packed full of amazingly talent people of all ages. This is true of our kids as well. Many are performers who need a place to show their stuff. The Teen Center has created our Open Mic nights to give unseasoned performers a safe and encouraging stage upon which to play.
There are up to ten spots open for music, comedy, poetry and more. We have a great new Yamaha 88 key stage piano, an acoustic guitar and congas for use if you need them or bring your own gear. (If you are a band please come early to set up.
Cinco De Mayo Open Mic will also include a free taco bar.
