Doug Elkins Dance Residency (Informal Showing)
After an exciting return of Fraulein Maria to the vineyard this summer, the team consisting of co-directorsBarbara Karger and Michael Preston, and choreographer Doug Elkins will stay in residence continuing work on a new piece to be performed in full at The Yard in 2013. Recently awarded as a 2012 Guggenheim Fellow in choreography, Elkins is described as "one of the most musical, witty and inventive choreographers of his generation" (Rosalyn Sulcas, New York Times). Be a part of the process and see the work-in-progress this year followed by the completed work in 2013!
