Countless vessels have been wrecked off the shores of Martha's Vineyard. This exhibition explores the fascinating and often tragic stories behind these ill-fated voyages through photos, paintings, and wreckage that has washed ashore.
Visitors can see a door from the famous passenger steamer City of Columbus, which sank off Aquinnah in 1884, and learn what underwater exploration is telling us about the relics that remain on the sea floor.
CLOSES SATURDAY, AUGUST 11th.
