The Baseball Clubs of Cape Cod formed the 35 plus division to provide Cape Cod and now the Vineyard with baseball the old fashioned way.
The Martha's Vineyard Dogfish have joined the BCCC and will have its inaugural game, actually a doubleheader, this Saturday against the Cape Cod Raiders at 12:30 PM at the MVR High School.
This seasoned group of ball players (primarily Little League and Junior League coaches & managers plus others...including MV Sharks front office personnel) no longer have to talk about their "glory days" anymore as they will continue to live it. Now they can practice what they preach to their players by executing on the playing field. Great transition from Sharks collegiate baseball to 35 and older baseball.

Let's hope this is the start of a new brand of baseball that will entice some of the younger guys who play softball during the summer to come join the team in the future.
Food shed will be open as well as bouncy castles.
