The Wintertide Listening Room (located in THE BASE at the YMCA of MV's Alexandra Gagnon Center) continues its summer concert series this Saturday night with singer-songwriter Noah Stuber in concert. Noah is no stranger to our stage having performed last year with Carly Simon.
Wintertide Listening Room is a set of evenings dedicated to acoustic and popular live music for people of all ages. As part of Alex's Place, located in the YMCA, the listening room is the islands only truly alcohol and smoke - free listening room. (Unlike others, no alcohol may be brought in making it truly an all-ages venue) The goal of the Wintertide Listening Room is to build a bridge between teens and the community at large by providing enjoyable entertainment options that are both local and national.
THE BASE, Alex's Place Performing Arts Space offers many different themes for the use of the space; from THE BASE Summer Sun Dance Parties each Friday (for teens) to Wintertide Listening Room (All ages) Created by Tony Lombardi, former director of Wintertide Coffeehouse, the listening room and all the other activities held in the space are designed with our community in mind.

Other shows that are coming up are varied and exciting including 14 time Boston Music Award Winner and Wintertide Alumnus, Ellis Paul on September 1st. Tony and his team plan to bring back many Wintertide standards and artists who started out at Wintertide and have gone on to national recognition.
