The evening will feature the screening of two short films about returning veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan and the reentry challenges they face. It will also feature the work of the American Heroes Saltwater Challenge program. The program brings veterans to Martha's Vineyard to heal through world class fishing as part of the Bluefish Derby. The fishing boat captains who host these veterans will share their amazing experiences with these wounded veterans. The films are American Standard by David Henry Gerson, and photographed by Pulitzer Prize winning photographer Edward Keating, and Poster Girl, which was nominated for an Academy Award in 2011 for Best Documentary Short.
