Bob Frishman, founder of Bell-Time Clocks, has repaired over 7,000 antique clocks and sold more than 1,400. Frishman will present an overview of clock history, styles, and makers and discuss the culture, science, and importance of timekeeping. He will also give tips on collecting and repairing clocks and talk about some of the watches and clocks in the Museum’s collection. Patrons are invited to bring one of their own clocks for Frishman to appraise following the talk. A selection of the Museum’s clocks will be on exhibit in the Spotlight Gallery during a reception in the galleries.
