This endearing Québécois comedy is inspired by the true story of the legendary bull “Starbuck” who fathered thousands of offspring through artificial insemination. David is a middle-aged man who hasn’t grown up. He’s a disappointment to his family, his girlfriend, and his disgruntled creditors. His lackluster life is upended when he learns that he’s fathered no less than 533 children via his one and only talent: donating sperm. What is initially a slapstick comedy seamlessly transitions into dramatic territory when David begins interacting with his extremely diverse children. His newfound paternal status ultimately allows him to find himself, rebuild his life, and discover true happiness.
