Award-winning ”new vaudevillian”, Geoff Sobelle is a comic theater artist dedicated to the pursuit of “the sublime ridiculous.” "The Object Lesson" is a solo performance / junk-pile-installation for one performer and a host of "stuff" that delves into our absurd relationship with THINGS. Collecting, hoarding, minimizing, clinging, dealing, buying, selling, trading, losing, winning, sentimentalizing, breaking, destroying, collapsing under... a world of things. He literally builds his work, his world, his junk onsite with the help of fellow absurdist, choreographer David Neumann.
