Children are natural yogis and yoginis. Learn fun and easy yoga poses, movements, and breathing practices to do with your infant or toddler, and how yoga can support and enhance your child's health and well being. We'll discuss and practice poses to bolster the immune system, ease digestion, increase coordination, and release and regulate stress and anxiety. This is a participatory workshop - babies and toddlers welcome - and no previous yoga experience is necessary.
*Elissa Lash - RYT, CD (DONA) is trained and certified in a variety of yoga styles including pre and postnatal has been teaching for the past seven years. She co-founded the free prenatal yoga program at the YMCA and has taught children's and family yoga at various schools and childcare centers in New York and on Martha's Vineyard. She is also a DONA certified labor doula and childbirth educator. She is the mom to a seven year old and two year old and lives in Vineyard Haven with her family.
