Five Things You Need to Know Today: August 16

Agricultural Fair in Vineyard Haven, a screening of "How to Start a Revolution" at the Katherine Cornell Theater, and Good Night Louise is playing at the Yard.

2. Today kicks off the  at the . The 151st Martha's Vineyard Agricultural Fair takes place on August 16, 17, 18 and 19 in West Tisbury. Rides by Cushing Amusements. There is a livestock show, a fiber tent, hall exhibits and tons of food and fun for the whole family. The fair begins at 10:00am and ends at 11:00pm and is $10 for adults and $5 for kids. 3.  at . Visit with the artists and gallery owners on Dukes County Avenue, and enjoy light refreshments. Most galleries are open until 8pm every Thursday night. The event is free. For more information, call 508-560-5614.

4. Tonight there will be a screening of "How to Start a Revolution" at the Katherine . The movie portrays non-violent action in Serbia, Iran, Egypt. Inspired by Gene Sharpe, author of "From Dictatorship to Democracy." The movie begins at 7:30 and there is a $5 suggested donation.
