Heroin Bust by Martha's Vineyard Drug Task Force

The Martha's Vineyard Drug Task Force arrested a man in Edgartown on heroin charges.

Edgartown, MA — A man was arrested on heroin charges by the Martha's Vineyard Drug Task Force last week.

Jason Labbe, 36, of Middleboro, was allegedly involved in a drug transaction in Edgartown on Meshacket Road Friday.

Edgartown police said detectives saw the transaction and arrested Labbe. He was charged with possession or heroin and suboxone. Police said he also had a warrant for domestic violence.

Labbe was held without bail pending an arraignment.

The other individual involved in the drug transaction was released and not charged, police said.
