Hit-Run Driver Sought After Crash in Edgartown

A Tuesday-afternoon collision on the Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Road that may have totaled a Jaguar has police looking for a small silver or gray GM sedan that likely has front-end damage, the Vineyard Gazette reports.

If you were driving on the Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Road at around 2:45 p.m. Tuesday and witnessed a collision at Briarwood Drive, Edgartown police would like to hear from you at 508-627-4343, according to the Vineyard Gazette.

In the crash, a Jaguar was struck from behind and heavily damaged by what she described to police as a small sedan with three young adults in it, reports the Gazette, adding that police believe the vehicle was a silver/gray General Motors car.
