School's Out for Summer!

As students poured out of school doors Tuesday afternoon, there were screams of joy and tears of sadness. Some were ready to get a move on with summer, others looked back on the year and thought about teachers and friends they would miss over the next few months.

Over 2000 children attend Island schools and though seniors and eigth graders have been out for the past week, Tuesday marked the end of the year for the rest of the Island's student body.

On their way out the door, students Ciara and Sam Hoyt from the Oak Bluffs School said they were most excited about for "sailing" and "going to the beach" this summer.

Ryan and Elena Giordano are also looking forward to the beach and "playing wih friends."
