MVYRadio Announces Vineyard Concert March 16
Live music, local DJs and dessert are on the menu for the evening "celebration of our community and connection" at the Agricultural Hall in West Tisbury, according to the MVRadio Facebook page.

Musicians Mike Benjamin, Don Groover, Tristan Israel, Jemima James, Nancy Jephcote and Paul Thurlow are on the bill for a March 16 concert sponsored by MVYRadio, formerly WMVY, at the Agricultural Hall, 35 Panhandle Rd. in West Tisbury.
An update on the MVYRadio Facebook page calls the 7-10 p.m. event "a musical celebration of our community and connection" and continues,
"We’ll have a cake, tea, coffee and water...plus some local musicians will play for us! Feel free to bring your favorite dessert and beverage."

Formerly heard at 92.7 FM on the Vineyard, MVYRadio went to the internet Feb. 9 after its local frequency was purchased by WBUR as a repeater for the Boston NPR station's programming.
According to the MVYRAdio Facebook page on Feb. 28, "We have returned to our Newport signal at 96.5FM and we are still searching for another spot on the FM dial locally."
