Oak Bluffs Restaurants Reopen for 2013

Lookout Tavern and The Red Cat Kitchen at Ken'n'Beck are back in business for another season. Here's a glimpse of what they're serving this year.

The latest Martha's Vineyard restaurants to reopen for the 2013 season are Lookout Tavern and Red Cat at Ken'n'Beck, both in Oak Bluffs.

Located at 8 Seaview Ave. Ext., across from the Steamship Authority terminal, Lookout Tavern posted some menu additions on its Facebook page, "including the addition of Seasons Pub great menu items:

  • House Made Buffalo Fingers
  • Marinated Steak Tips
  • Seasons famous Ribs
  • Onion Soup
  • Skewered Marinated Steak w/Horseradish Cream Sauce 
  • and of course Lookout's regular great menu items"

Through April, Lookout Tavern is open daily at the following hours:

Monday through Thursday 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Friday 3 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Saturday 11:30 a.m. to 10:30pm, bar open till midnight-1 a.m.
Sunday 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., bar open till midnight-1 a.m.

The Red Cat Kitchen at Ken'n'Beck is also serving at 14 Kennebec Ave., (508) 696-6040, starting at 5:30 p.m. daily. The latest menu from chef Ben Deforest is attached.
