Obama's Martha's Vineyard Vacation Starts Aug. 6
President Obama and family will travel to Martha's Vineyard for their last summer vacation of his presidency.
MARTHA'S VINEYARD, MA — President Obama will return to Martha's Vineyard next week for the last summer vacation of his presidency.
Obama and family will fly to the island Aug. 6 and leave Aug. 21, according to White House spokesman Keith Maley.
"There are no public events scheduled, and further details regarding the First Family's travel to Massachusetts will be available in the coming days," Maley said in statement.

The Obamas have vacationed on Martha's Vineyard every year of his presidency except 2012 when he ran for reelection.
Obama likes to play rounds of golf on the island; the family often goes for bike rides and eats at local restaurants.
