Orca Spotted Off Cape Cod

Chatham, MA — An orca whale made a rare appearance off the coast of Cape Cod Monday.
Captain Bruce Peters of Capeshores Charters captured the orca swimming near Chatham.

An average orca is 32 feet long and 6 tons—the size of a school bus.
Fun fact: orcas are members of the dolphin family, though they are commonly called "killer whales."
