Pee Wee's Vineyard Playhouse? Benefit Draws Hollywood Actors

Los Angeles celebrities turned out Saturday for a Tinseltown benefit in support of the Vineyard Playhouse, which is undergoing renovations. Supporters pledged to endow the ladies' bathroom stalls, among other parts of the theater.

This just in from Scott Arundale, former Edgartown summer resident and film school professor in Los Angeles:

Paul Reubens (Pee Wee Herman), Tony Shalhoub ("Monk) and Allee Willis (Grammy-winning songwriter of the "Friends" theme) were spotted among the guests Saturday night at the Hancock Park, L.A. home of Lucy Dahl and John Laviolette, who were hosting a benefit for the Vineyard Playhouse Patricia Neal Theater.

Among the auction items were naming rights to the stalls in the ladies' bathroom, of which four were sold for as much as $900.
