Police Make Arrest in Alley's General Store Robbery

A Hingham man allegedly broke into the store and stole four packs of cigarettes.

West Tisbury police on Tuesday arrested a man who allegedly robbed Alley’s General Store over the weekend.

Geoffrey McCullough, 21, of Hingham, was charged with breaking and entering, malicious destruction of property, and larceny.

Police said he broke into the store Saturday and stole four packs of cigarettes. A security camera captured the robbery, police said.

McCullough turned himself in after police distributed photos from the camera.
