Alleged Sexual Assault on Martha's Vineyard April 2 Still Unsolved
A 58-year-old woman was sexually assaulted at knifepoint in a state park, police said.

Police said they are continuing to search for suspects in an alleged sexual assault in the Manuel F. Correllus State Park April 2.
A 58-year-old woman said she was walking her dogs on the Dr. Fisher Road trail when a man sexually assaulted her at knifepoint at about 2:30 p.m.
Police said they interviewed several potential suspects but none matched the description provided by the victim.

“(We) will continue to investigate this case,” Edgartown police said in a statement.

White male, late 20’s early 30’s, muscular build, light brown ‘sandy’ colored hair, unkempt over ears and curly in back, scruffy facial hair, wearing old faded light blue jeans with some holes in the thighs, dark colored ‘pocket’ t-shirt, light blue or green button down chambray shirt over the t-shirt, and tan work boots. Suspect also had a gold stud piercing in his left ear, a silver bracelet on his left wrist, and a small tattoo or grease smudge on the thumb webbing of his right hand (round nickel size circle with letter in middle).
