Saying Goodbye to the Sharks

The Island's wooden-bat collegiate summer league ends its first season on a high note.

The , the island's new wooden-bat collegiate summer league, concluded its first-ever season Wednesday night with a 23-21 record.

The Sharks in the Future Collegiate Baseball League playoffs, and yet still came out with an impressive catch.  Sharks shortstop and second baseman Robbie Zinsmeister was awarded the league's Most Valuable Player award. 

"I had such a great time here, and I would really love to come back," Zinsmeister said.
