The worst will hit between 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Small hail and strong winds are possible.

- SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE ALREADY BEGINNING TO DEVELOP OVER NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND AT LATE MORNING AND WILL MOVE INTO SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND THIS AFTERNOON. COVERAGE AND INTENSITY OF THE THUNDERSTORMS WILL PEAK BETWEEN 3 PM TO 7 PM AND THEN BEGIN TO WEAKEN TOWARDS AND AFTER SUNSET.
- THE MAIN WEATHER HAZARDS WITH ANY THUNDERSTORM WILL BE HAIL AND STRONG WINDS. IN ADDITION THESE STORMS WILL RESULT IN A RAPID BUT BRIEF TEMPERATURE DROP. FORECAST CONFIDENCE IS HIGH FOR NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING SMALL HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS.
- CITES AND TOWNS THAT ARE MOST LIKELY TO BE IMPACTED ARE FRAMINGHAM...LOWELL...LAWRENCE...GLOUCESTER...FOXBORO...NORWOOD...CAMBRIDGE...BOSTON...QUINCY...TAUNTON...BROCKTON...PLYMOUTH...FALL RIVER...NEW BEDFORD...MATTAPOISETT...CHATHAM...FALMOUTH AND PROVINCETOWN.
