Tattoo Parlor Becomes Pastry Shop in Oak Bluffs

The owners of Slice of Life Café are branching out across the street to open Pear Tree Pastries and Provisions in the storefront formerly occupied by Martha's Vineyard Tattoo.

The "M.V. Tattoo" sign still hangs above the storefront at 55 Circuit Avenue in Oak Bluffs, but there's a new sign in the window: "COMING SOON ... PEAR TREE PASTRIES AND PROVISIONS."

Who's behind it? According to a Facebook post by Point B Realty blogger Guinevere Cramer: "Slice of Life owners, Jennifer & Peter Smyth are opening this soon to be go-to-spot for premade sandwiches, pastries and more!"

Are you pleased to hear that Slice of Life Café is opening a pastry and sandwich shop? Tell us in the comments.
