Vineyard Boys Win State Tennis Title Again
The Martha's Vineyard Regional High School boys tennis team captured its second consecutive state championship Saturday in Worcester and came home to a cheering Island crowd.

For the second consecutive year, the Martha's Vineyard Regional High School boys tennis team has won the state championship.
"Congratulations to the MVRHS Boys Tennis Team for winnng the State Championship today held at Clark University in Worcester! This makes two years in a row!" posted Vineyard Youth Tennis executive director Scott Smith on the MV Patch Facebook page Saturday.
The team defeated Bromfield High School 4-1 to retain the trophy and were met by cheering crowds on their return to the Vineyard, according to news reports in the Martha's Vineyard Times and Vineyard Gazette
