Vineyard Gazette Drops Tuesday Edition, Adds Online Paywall

For the first time in 84 years, the Vineyard Gazette will not be moving to a twice-a-week print schedule for the summer season, according to an announcement posted on the newspaper's website Thursday night.
While dropping its summer Tuesday print edition, the Gazette said it will instead add semi-weekly email newsletters linking to recent stories posted on its website. The paper's paywall, limiting online access to paid subscribers, will return in June, said published Jane Seagrave.
The Friday edition will include weekly summer features formerly found in Tuesday's, according to the Gazette announcement.
