Wharf, Moxie Among Vineyard Restaurants Taking Winter Break
The Wharf in Edgartown is closed until St. Patrick's Day. Café Moxie in Vineyard Haven is also on hiatus. Do you have a winter restaurant update for Martha's Vineyard? Tell us in the comments.
One of downtown Edgartown's go-to eating and drinking places has shuttered for a winter break: The Wharf will reopen March 15, according to a sign on the door of the lower Main Street institution formerly known as the Kafe.
In Vineyard Haven, Café Moxie has also gone on winter hiatus, announcing via door sign that it will reopen March 11.
While these restaurants rest and refurbish after a long winter serving Islanders, other eateries — including Patch Readers' Choice 2012 winner Art Cliff Diner in Vineyard Haven — are preparing to open for the season March 1.
