Where Can I Charge an Electric Car on Martha's Vineyard?

In Vineyard Haven, you can harness the power of the sun to run your electric vehicle.

Arriving on Martha's Vineyard with an electric vehicle? You can drive straight from the ferry to the solar charging stations at Cronig's Market at 357 State Road in Tisbury (Vineyard Haven).

A collaboration between the Vineyard Power energy co-op, South Mountain Company and Cronig's, three solar photovoltaic canopies outside the supermarket pull power from the sunshine to dispense from charging stations underneath.

As a bonus, the canopies provide shaded parking for Cronig's shoppers and are designed to produce more than a quarter of the market's electricity — equal to the electrical energy use of about 35 average Martha's Vineyard homes, according to Vineyard Power.
