Woman Threatened Cape Cod Police Officers: Police
Police said Heather Perkins, of New Bedford, is wanted for bomb threats and other threats against 25 police stations and three schools.
BOURNE, MA — Police said a New Bedford woman is wanted for making bomb threats and other violent threats to dozens of police departments — including on Cape Cod — and schools. Heather Perkins threatened 25 police departments and three schools — the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth, Bridgewater State University and Springfield College, according to police. She also threatened Bourne police officers via email on Monday, authorities said.

Police said Perkins issued threats Friday that forced the evacuation of New Bedford City Hall. Perkins has no current address but recently lived on East Clinton Street and Ruth Street in New Bedford, police said. She is 5 feet, 4 inches and 147 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.
