Working on Martha's Vineyard
Sanzhar Asanakunov is enjoying his first summer on Martha's Vineyard working at Coop de Ville in Oak Bluffs.

Q. What do you do here at Coop de Ville?
A. My job is to prepare for the opening at the establishment. We open at 11am. I clean the place, the kitchen and the outside. Around 12pm I go home and go to the beach.

A. It's my first time here. It's my summer job. I've been here for two weeks.
Q. Where are you traveling from?

A. My home is in Kyrgyzstan. It's in Central Asia.
Q. Why did you come to Martha's Vineyard?
A. Last summer my sister told me it was a cool place. She said you can find good jobs and meet cool people. It's not very dangerous. And you know, if you want to go to the beach it's right here.
Q. Are you a student?
A. Yes. I go back in September. I am in the architecture department. It is my third year, I will study for four more years.
Q. If you could have any job what would it be?
A. It would be architecture because it was my choice and I like it.
