Yankee Magazine Names Oak Bluffs Businesses "Best of New England"

Oak Bluffs can add two more feathers to its cap with the release Wednesday of the Yankee Magazine Travel Guide to New England, which includes a "Best of New England — Editor's Choice" guide with 317 listings throughout the region.
Out of 17 "Best of" listings for Cape Cod and the Islands, only two are located on Martha's Vineyard — both in Oak Bluffs:
- Best Clam Chowder: Martha's Vineyard Chowder Company
- Best Harborfront Hotel: Dockside Inn, 9 Circuit Ave. Ext.

The magazine's editors appear to be in step with local tastes: Martha's Vineyard Chowder Company is also the winner of the Patch Readers' Choice Award for best chowder.
