Mental Health Films and Discussion at Waquoit Congregational Church October 18 . 4pm

On Sunday, October 18 at 4pm, Waquoit Congregational Church hosts a screening of three short films about mental health challenges and resilience: In Recovery Diaries, a young woman recreates her schizophrenic voices and hallucinations; Rat Tail tells the story of an insecure boy overcoming depression and bipolar disorder; and Small Things/Big Difference offers an illuminating, sweet look at what actually helps. Discussion after the film will be led by Jacqueline Lane of NAMI Cape Cod, a chapter of The National Alliance on Mental Illness. The event is FREE and open to the public - with popcorn and cold drinks served.
