MEDFORD, MA — Two children are uninjured after being hit by a pickup truck on Thursday afternoon, according to the Medford Police Department.
Officers responded to the scene at the corner of Riverside Ave and Freedom Way at approximately 3:15 p.m. Officer Jessica Walsh told Patch that the driver of the truck mistakenly proceeded through a crosswalk after the crossing guard signaled for him to wait to allow the children to cross.
