• Football comes up short at Tufts (bowdoin.edu) — Tufts University's football team edged Bowdoin 20–13 at Ellis Oval in Medford, using a late touchdown and two-point conversion to seal the home win. Bowdoin led at halftime and briefly in the fourth quarter, but Tufts' second-half surge, including a safety set up by strong defense, turned the game around in front of the Medford crowd.
• A planned non-Zionist Jewish school in Boston hopes to ride the momentum of the left (forward.com) — A Medford parent active in left-wing Jewish groups is among those hoping for new non-Zionist Jewish education options as a planned Boston-area day school, Achvat Olam, takes shape for a 2029 launch. The school's founders aim to serve families who want strong Jewish learning without a pro-Israel framework, though they face steep funding and enrollment challenges in the existing day-school landscape.
