• Lower energy costs, community benefits drive 30% battery growth rate: RMI (utilitydive.com) — Medway is set to receive about $46 million over 20 years from a large battery storage project that came online in February, according to RMI. The report explains how this installation, and similar projects nationwide, cut peak energy costs, support grid reliability, and bring new tax and community revenues while replacing older, more polluting peaker plants.
