• Tree Work Underway Ahead Of Melrose Park And Playground Renovation (patch.com) — Common Park's playground in Melrose is getting a major upgrade this fall, with tree work already underway and new equipment for kids ages 5–12 funded by last year's override. Construction on the new play structure could start the week of September 21 and take three to six weeks, alongside broader citywide investments in trees and recreation spaces.
