It is quiet now as daylight drifts towards sunset.
The trees are still, there are no birds at the feeders.
Brush strokes of white clouds are splashed across the blue/grey sky.
The sandy hill is silent; and a single loon seems to slide westward with the lake towards a moon that will rise soon and lighten up the dark sky.
Here, in the house, the trees and the lake and the stars will bring a miracle of light to remind me that I sit in a peaceful place.
This place is where my window allows me to see a beautiful and wonderful world any time of day.
