29 New Hires Joining Milford Public Schools: See The List

Milford Schools shared with Patch a list of new educators, administrators and support staff as the district gears up for the school year.

MILFORD, MA — Milford Public Schools will welcome nearly 30 new educators, administrators and support staff as the district gears up for the 2026-27 school year.

Milford Public Schools shared a list with Patch of 20 new employees assigned to schools or districtwide positions and nine long-term substitute teachers. The additions include classroom teachers, counselors, nurses, deans and other specialists across six schools.

At Milford High School, Jessica Lorenz will serve as a career coordinator and Brian Weeks as a math teacher.

Stacy Middle School added Charlotte Marsh as a health teacher, Vanessa Alvarez as a bilingual adjustment counselor, Rachel Grebber as a reading teacher, Katherine Figgie as an EL teacher and Calli Korbey as the Bridges clinician coordinator.

Woodland Elementary School hired Sharon Proia as a fifth-grade special education teacher, Chelsea Cataway as an EL teacher and Jamifel Pacheco as a third-grade dual-language teacher.

At Brookside Elementary School, Kelly Carvalho will serve as school nurse, Andrew Campiglio as a physical education teacher, Rachel Kolowsky as a Milestones teacher and Andrea Tuttman Gellerstein as dean of students.

Memorial Elementary School hired Brittany Nirenberg as a TLC adjustment counselor, Emily Frye as a K-2 music specialist and Maddie Van Buskirk as dean of students.

Alexandra Dominguez joined the Shining Star Early Childhood Center as a special education teacher.

The district also hired Stacy Fitzroy as Woodland’s assistant principal and Jessica Glennon for a 0.4 districtwide nursing position.

The long-term substitute list includes Olivia Morelli, a special education teacher at Shining Star; Lillian Klosen, a third-grade teacher at Woodland; Madeline Mauer and Katie Maietta, fourth-grade teachers at Woodland; Jennifer Bartecchi, a team chair at Brookside; Julie Chilton, a music teacher at Woodland and Lucy Bellantuoni, a teacher at Woodland.

Colleen Folster was listed as a speech and language pathologist and Vanessa Lenzi as an EL teacher. Their school assignments were not included.

Teachers report for their first day on Monday, while students in grades one through 12 return next Wednesday, followed by Shining Star students on Thursday and kindergarten students on Aug. 31.
