2nd Suspect In Custody After Milford Armed Robbery, Standoff
The suspects have been on the run for a week following an armed robbery at the Aroma Brazil butcher shop in Milford.
MILFORD, MA — A second suspect has been arrested one week after an armed robbery at a Milford butcher shop from where the suspects fled with armfuls of cash, police said Tuesday morning.
Suspect Lucas Morreira Fontenelle, 21, of Framingham was taken into custody from the Holiday Inn Express on Fortune Boulevard Monday night in connection with the Jan. 9 robbery at Aroma Brazil, according to police.
Earlier in the afternoon, the first suspect — Daniel Generoso, 26, of Milford — was taken into custody after a long standoff at his home during which West Street was shut down, police said.
