3 Facing Drug Charges After Incident At Target In Milford

Police say a call about a nude woman at Milford Target led officers to find fentanyl and crack cocaine.

MILFORD, MA — A call about an intoxicated and nude woman inside Target led Milford police to arrest three people Tuesday night.

The Milford Public Safety Communications Center received a call at about 7:25 p.m. from an employee at Target, 250 Fortune Boulevard, reporting that a woman was inside the store, according to police. The employee told dispatchers the woman had put her clothes back on, left the store on foot and had blood visible on her clothing.

Officers searched the area and found a red Subaru Forester in the nearby vacant Best Buy parking lot. The vehicle was occupied by a male driver and two female passengers, including one woman who matched the description given by Target employees, police said.

Police identified the three people in the vehicle as Benjamin Mahler, 50, of Uxbridge; Elizabeth McCusker, 36, of Franklin and Alisha Chmiel, 32, of Woonsocket, Rhode Island.

During the investigation, officers found crack cocaine and fentanyl in the vehicle, according to police.

Chmiel was charged with possession of a Class A substance, fentanyl; obstruction of justice and five active arrest warrants. Mahler was charged with possession of a Class B substance, crack cocaine. McCusker was charged with possession of a Class A substance, fentanyl and disturbing the peace.
