4 Residents Appointed To Police Chief Search Committee
The 12-member committee was completed by with the Board of Selectmen's four appointees.

MILFORD, MA- Four Milford residents were appointed to the police chief search committee Monday night by the Board of Selectmen.
One Town Meeting Member was appointed along with three residents who are not town employees and don’t serve on a town board or committee. Edward Bertorelli was selected as the Town Meeting member, the board highlighted he has served as a member for more than 30 years. David Brutsch, Christopher Fritts and Jodie Nosiglia were selected as the residents to be apart of the committee.
Selectman Kingkade praised the selection calling the group "impressive" and "diverse".

Previously, Town Moderator Michael Noferi appointed Richard Heller, Donato Niro and Dino DeBartolomeis to the search committee as required by the town bylaws. The appointees consist of a Town Meeting member and two at-large members.
Also on the search committee, as required by town bylaws are Police Chief Thomas O’Loughlin, selectmen Chairman Michael Walsh, Personnel Board Chairman Scott Harrison, Finance Committee Chairman Christopher Morin and a member of the Milford Police Association – James Heron.

The selectmen expect meetings to being in the coming weeks and anticipate the process to be a long one. "This group is already off to a later start than it should've been," Selectmen Kingkade said, adding that the process should not be rushed but the town and committee should not anticipate the process ending by July 1.
