4 Return Nomination Papers For Town Election

MILFORD, MA- Milford's spring election is three months away and residents are wasting no time trying to get their name on a ballot. So far four candidates have completed and returned the necessary paperwork as of Monday afternoon.

Robert Sheddy was one of the first to return paperwork on Jan. 10 for the positions of constable- he is running against the incumbents. RJ Sheedy also returned paperwork on Jan. 10 for school committee member, he is also running against two incumbents. Scott Vecchiolla returned paperwork for his current position of Trustee of Vernon Grove on Jan. 11. Joseph Arcudi, who currently serves as constable and Board of Assessors member turned in his paperwork Jan. 14.

Five residents have also pulled papers for town meeting members, none of them have been returned yet.

In order to vote int he spring election you must be a resident of Milford and registered voter. Voters have until Feb. 8 to obtain nomination papers from the town clerk’s office, and must return those papers by Feb. 12 with the necessary signatures.
