7th Annual Team Micky Ward Bike Ride BBQ Set for Sept. 12

Team Micky Ward Charities will sponsor the Seventh Annual Bike Run/BBQ on Saturday, Sept. 12, at the Italian American Veterans club in Milford. Biker registration is from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and the BBQ will be served around 3 p.m.

The cost is $20 for all bikers and a $10 fee for passengers. There will also be a $10 food/entertainment ticket available for non-bikers.

Throughout the day, there will be raffles, Motorcycle stunt show by Dan Duest, live bands (We Were Astronauts and The Ricky Robidoux Band), along with autograph signing by Micky Ward.

At this event, Team Micky Ward Charities will be honoring the Milford Police Department and Milford Fire Department prior to Bike take off at noon. Stops will be at Waterfront Mary’s and The Tradesman, then back to the Italian Vets Post 40.

Team Micky Ward Charities and Boston Strong DUCKS will be teaming up on this event to support Blessings for Brooklynn, a little girl from Bellingham who was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Leukemia at the very young age of two. Brooklynn and her family were also victims of a scam where thousands of dollars were raised for Brooklynn’s medical expenses, but the organizer of the event stole the funds raised.

Bracelets for The Paula Lampasona Children’s Fund will be sold at the event.
