1. Milford Fundraiser Raises More Than $4K for Child Awaiting Heart Transplant (patch.com) — Milford residents and local bartenders came together at Legends Sports Bar and Grille to raise more than $4,400 for 5-year-old Elina, who is awaiting a heart transplant. The community-driven Battle of the Bartenders event, organized by Raydio’s Radiate Positivity Initiative, will fund vital medical equipment and support to help Elina maintain mobility and independence during her treatment.
2. Man arrested on OUI charge in Milford (newportdispatch.com) — A 19-year-old Milford resident is facing OUI and related charges after police say he fled a single-car crash into a telephone pole in town on May 14. Milford police, fire, and EMS responded, treated an injured passenger, and used a K-9 unit to track the suspected driver to a Prospect Street residence.
3. Milford man arrested in Shrewsbury after gun trafficking investigation (shrewsburypost.com) — A 20-year-old Milford man was arrested Monday in Shrewsbury after a long-term investigation into alleged illegal gun sales in Milford, according to authorities. Milford police, state police, and federal agents say the probe targeted firearm trafficking in town, and the suspect now faces multiple serious firearms and ammunition charges in Worcester Superior Court.
4. Milford MA High honors Class of '26 co-valedictorians. What to know (metrowestdailynews.com) — Milford High School has honored Class of 2026 co-valedictorians Ana Julia Pereira and Giovanna Weiner for standout academics, leadership, and community service. Local school leaders and a representative of Gov. Maura Healey joined the celebration, which also included a surprise recognition for Assistant Principal Jess Zaleski’s support of the senior class.
