Over 100 Backpacks Distributed!

Unfortunately, due to the construction occurring at the Milford Youth Center, we could not host our Open House and Back to School event, but that did not stop us from getting backpacks to some of our members and community! We would like to thank the United Way of Tri-County for donating 50 backpacks, the Hockomock Area YMCA for donating 30 backpacks, Homefield Credit Union for donating 50 backpacks Provisions Ministry for donating 35 backpacks and Krissy Ferreira for donating 10 backpacks and miscellaneous school supplies!

These agencies run annual back-to-school backpack programs to help children and youth succeed to learn! The program is a combined effort between area businesses and employees to provide backpacks and school supplies for the new school year! Each backpack is full of grade specific school supplies, from crayons to

calculators and everything in between!

Finally, longtime supporter of the MYC, Ray Auger or Raydio, donated additional school supplies that he collected from the community over the last couple weeks! We would like to thank all the community members who participated in this collection of donated items!
