Milford Home Sales Surge As Prices Dip

Here's a look at the town's housing sales, prices and inventory for September.

MILFORD, MA — Home sales climbed sharply in Milford in September despite a slight decline in prices and fewer properties on the market.

Milford recorded 19 closed sales, up 46.1 percent from September 2025. The median sales price fell 0.8 percent to $595,000 while the number of homes for sale dropped 28.6 percent to 20, according to September housing data from the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS.

Sales rose from 18 in August while inventory remained unchanged at 20 homes. The median price declined from $607,500, according to last month's report.

Milford's year-over-year sales growth outpaced the statewide single-family market. Closed sales across Massachusetts increased 4.8 percent in September while the median price rose 2.4 percent to $670,000, according to the association.

New single-family listings increased 7.6 percent statewide compared with September 2025. Statewide condominium sales declined 6.4 percent while the median condominium price remained unchanged at $525,000.

"This month's housing data points to a market moving in two directions," Kristen Keegan, the association's 2026 president, said in the report. She said single-family homes continued to show resilience while the condominium market experienced a pullback.
