Annual 5K Supports the Military Peer Support Program
This fifth annual event, happening this weekend, supports this program that assists veterans in their time of need.

MILFORD, MA— Veterans can need assistance with anything from housing to lawn care to Christmas presents or care packages.
The mission of the Military Peer Support Program is to fulfill those needs of veterans and deployed military personnel. As part of its fundraising efforts, the program holds its 5th Annual Military Peer Support Program 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, May 22, starting at 10 a.m. at the Massachusetts Correctional Union, 159 South Main St.
"These Veterans have sacrificed so much for their country it is incumbent upon us to never forget that a lot of these men and women still carry invisible wounds that can last a lifetime," reads the announcement. "If you’d like to make an additional donation, they will be gladly accepted at the race."
