MILFORD, MA — Milford police are searching for an armed robbery suspect following a confrontation at a Route 109 gas station on Tuesday.

According to Milford police, a man went to the 140 Medway Road business near 4 a.m. Tuesday and forced a pump attendant into the convenience store part of the station. Another employee was already inside.

Once there, the robber implied he was carrying a gun and demanded cash, police said. After grabbing money out of the cash register, the robber struggled with the employees, and then lifted his shirt to show a black handgun in his waistband, police said. The robber then ran off toward a nearby shopping plaza.
