Athletic Director Flocking Starts Milford High School After Prom Party Fundraiser

The flocking represents the start of fundraising for the after prom party.

The weather may not be ideal for flamingos but that’s what new Milford High School athletic director Peter Boucher found on his front lawn Saturday morning.

As part of the fundraiser for the Milford High School After Prom Party, Boucher’s home was chosen as the location for the kickoff. Every year, a member of the community that stands out or is new is chosen to start the fundraiser, which features the appearance of plastic flamingos in front of the target’s home.

As in previous years, the delightfully tacky, pink, plastic flamingos will reside on a lawn for 24 hours. A flock can be sent to anyone including friends, family, or anyone with a sense of humor. The removal does not require a donation, but is appreciated.
